My name is Shakeria Hicks. I am a licensed aesthetician and laser practitioner with a passion for blemish prone & reactive skin of all types.I am trained in advanced services such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and derma-planing.  Managing my own skin is what inspired me to become a skincare professional. I believe skin education should be accessible to everyone and everyone should have a skin therapist to lean on and guide them along the way. I created the Inner Layer for that purpose alone-- so it could act as a supportive resource guide for anyone who is feeling lost or alone about caring for their skin.

Skincare is my passion that drives my life, and I am so blessed to share my passion with my clients and guide them on the journey to achieving their skincare goals!
